Overview

In 2025, the Bavarian Forest sports scene gathered again on the third Saturday in July at the Dreisessel: mountain run from the village center to the summit, MTB route, children's obstacle course at Dreisesselhaus, Kids Race, and the spectacular evening Race Night through Neureichenau.

The 2025 edition of the Tag des Sports followed the successful formula established in previous years. In the years prior, the event had grown regionally to become the largest outdoor sports event — driven by the strong club life in the southeastern Bavarian Forest and its unique location in the border triangle.

As in previous years, the individual disciplines flowed smoothly into one another: mountain run, mountain bike, and Nordic walking starting in the afternoon, children's program in the afternoon, Race Night and after-race party in the evening. The donation portion from the entry fees went, as usual, to the Friends of Schutzhaus Dreisessel Association, which supports the renovation of the historic mountain hut.

From 10.00€ to 25.00€

Entry fees vary per discipline, previous year's price for Race Night was €11 (with a €2 donation portion).
