The last edition before 2026 took place in 2024: 86 performances with around 100 artists at 30 venues in the Kreativ.Quartier Ückendorf, Gelsenkirchen. The 24-hour biennale of free arts once again proved its significance as one of the most innovative festival formats in the Ruhr Area.

The 2024 edition concretized the concept of a 24-hour festival biennale: 86 performances across all genres, 100 artists at 30 venues in Gelsenkirchen-Ückendorf. The Szeniale has thus established itself as a permanent fixture in the free art scene of North Rhine-Westphalia. For 2026, the association plans a continuation on a comparable scale.
