Overview
The SV Wechingen Sports Weekend 2025 once again brought sports competitions, social evening events, and the familiar three-day programme to the club grounds in the Donau-Ries. As every year, the club organised the festival with volunteer helpers from Wechingen and the neighbouring communities.
In 2025, SV Wechingen stuck to its proven festival concept. The pétanque tournament, youth games, and league match formed the sporting framework, while the Bavarian Evening with live music in the marquee provided the social highlight on Saturday evening. The club life of the Donau-Ries thrives on such events – they are less major tourist attractions and more authentic showcases of Bavarian-Swabian village culture.
