Edition 2025 — SVE Promotion Celebration
In 2025, SV Elversberg was still in the 2. Bundesliga and had narrowly secured their place. The historic promotion to the Bundesliga only occurred in the following season 2025/26 – therefore, the 2026 promotion celebration is the first of its kind.
In 2025, there was no Bundesliga promotion celebration in Spiesen-Elversberg yet. SVE finished the 2024/25 season in seventh place in the 2. Bundesliga and planned for a coaching change to Vincent Wagner in the summer of 2025. The decisive sporting step – promotion to the Bundesliga – only happened on May 17, 2026, with the 3-0 win against Preußen Münster.
