Edition 2025 — Sunday Concert Series Choral Association
The 2025 Sunday Concert Series took place as usual in the Philharmonie's Chamber Music Hall – six concerts between January and June, each featuring three Berlin choirs. The series confirmed its reputation as the most important regular platform for Berlin's amateur and semi-professional choirs and laid the groundwork for the 2026 jubilee edition.
The 2025 season brought together 18 Berlin choirs in six concept concerts. Themes ranged from classical concert formats to experimental pop-classical combinations.
The average occupancy of the Chamber Music Hall was around 80 percent; individual concerts (especially the pop and gospel combinations) were sold out. The series has been a fixture of the Berlin concert calendar since the early 2000s and is financed primarily through ticket sales and association contributions.
