Following its debut in 2024, SummerSounds 2025 in Konradsreuth held its second edition in the castle courtyard. The idea of initiator Sven Konhäuser — small, intimate courtyard concerts under the motto 'Konradsreuth sounds good' — was also well-received in its second year, further establishing the format in the municipality's event calendar.
The 2025 edition built upon the successful debut the previous year. The event concept — courtyard concerts inspired by the courtyard concert series in neighboring communities like Köditz — proved its worth. In a report on the concept in the Frankenpost newspaper, the municipal council audience praised the accessible, community-oriented approach.
The concept and scale were deliberately kept small: open-air in the castle courtyard, acoustically suitable acts, intimate atmosphere — the characteristic mix of styles that distinguishes the format from a typical town festival or Volksfest.
