Overview

The 28th Südstaatenmusikfest took place on July 18 and 19, 2025, on the Naab River by the Fischerhäusl at Irl. Two days of blues and rock with Bläck Train, Galaxy Walker and the Hoodstarz, Boarisch Blues, Muddy What?, and Véronique Gayot & Band – with free admission.

The 28th Südstaatenmusikfest on July 18 and 19, 2025, offered two days of groovy music on the Naab River by the Fischerhäusl at Irl. On Friday (from 6 PM), the house band Bläck Train opened with classic and blues rock covers, followed by Galaxy Walker and the Hoodstarz ("Bavarian Funk") and the Scotty Bullock Trio (Rock'n'Roll, Beat, and Rockabilly). On Saturday (from 4 PM), Boarisch Blues (Delta and Chicago blues), Parasoul (acoustic), the German Blues Challenge winners Muddy What?, and finally Véronique Gayot & Band performed. Draft beer, steaks, chili, campfire, and barbecue completed the festival with free admission.
