On September 19, 2025, Südstadt and Biestow celebrated under the motto 'Diversity Connects' in Kringelgrabenpark. Between 2:00 PM and 6:30 PM, colorful, self-made pennant chains transformed the park into a lively festival ground with music, hands-on activities, and vegetarian food.

The 2025 edition of the Südstadt/Biestow Neighborhood Festival was held under the motto 'Diversity Connects'. In the run-up, residents, school classes, and clubs created pennant chains from fabric and paper in workshops, which decorated Kringelgrabenpark on the festival day. The program offered an open stage with music, hands-on activities for children and adults, and vegetarian food from the neighborhood. The festival was organized by the Südstadt/Biestow Neighborhood Table together with the SBZ Rostock.
