The 2025 Styrum Volksfest once again attracted families from southern Oberhausen to Martin-Heix-Platz. With barrel tapping, 23 showmen's businesses, and the traditional ecumenical service on the bumper cars, the folk festival tradition remained alive.
In 2025, the Styrum Volksfest again ran as a typical neighborhood festival in southern Oberhausen. Opening with barrel tapping on Thursday evening, four days of funfair operation at Martin-Heix-Platz, and the Sunday highlight with the ecumenical service on the bumper cars. A beloved and unique tradition.
