Overview

The 85th Stuttgart Spring Festival ran from April 19 to May 11, 2025 — 23 days on the Cannstatter Wasen with the five large beer tents and around 220 attractions. Over 1.2 million visitors came, the Albdorf concept with regional BW specialties was further expanded. The finale on May 11 ended with a musical fireworks display.

The Stuttgart Spring Festival 2025 took place in predominantly spring-like weather — the Wasen grounds were filled to capacity on weekends. It opened on Saturday, April 19, with the traditional tapping of the beer keg and the balloon race. The five beer tents (Wasenwirt, Göckelesmaier, Beim Benz, Almhütte Royal, Grandls Hofbräu) were fully booked on weekends; waiting lists sometimes extended back weeks.

The Albdorf area, introduced in 2023, was significantly expanded in 2025: 250 exhibitors with predominantly Baden-Württemberg products — Trollinger, Maultaschen, lentils with Spätzle, Swabian pretzels, Albbäcker bread. The gastronomic offerings emphasized regional identity more strongly than before. The finale on Sunday, May 11, concluded the festival with a musical fireworks display.
