Overview

The Stullner Kirwa 2025 took place from August 29th to 31st, 2025, on the forecourt of the Stulln multi-purpose hall. As every year, the Kirwabaum was erected by the team of the Stulln young men's club; the Kirwa couples danced in full traditional costume. The festival band, draft beer, and Upper Palatinate delicacies accompanied the three-day festival weekend.

The 2025 Stullner Kirwa followed the annual tradition of the municipality. The forecourt of the multi-purpose hall has been the established festival location for years — the traditional costume and youth clubs, together with the municipality of Stulln, organize the event on a voluntary basis. In 2025, the event once again attracted guests from the entire Schwandorf district and the Naabtal valley, many visiting relatives and acquaintances in Stulln.

The festival concept has been established over decades: three days, supported by volunteers, without a commercial character, with a clear appreciation for the Upper Palatinate traditional costume heritage. In 2025, the Kirwabaum was reliably erected by a well-coordinated team of young men using poles, ropes, and visible choreography — a moment that elicits applause and collective relief every year.
