The municipality of Stuhr and its district Brinkum are an important economic location in Lower Saxony, closely linked to the greater Bremen area. The Spring and Trade Fair is the annual stage for this economic vitality.

16th edition – new fairground

The 16th edition in 2026 marks an important generational change: for the first time, the fair will take place on the new fairground at Brunnenweg in Brinkum. The new location was designed by the municipality with the requirements of a modern large-scale event in mind – sufficient parking spaces, good accessibility, generous exhibitor areas.

Around 120 exhibitors

The approximately 120 exhibitors cover a broad spectrum: craft businesses of all trades, retailers, service providers such as banks, insurance companies, and consulting firms, automotive and mobility providers, horticulture, energy suppliers, educational institutions, social organizations, and much more. Anyone who wants to get an overview of the economic life in Stuhr and the surrounding area will find it here.

Opening by Mayor Korte

The official opening will take place on Friday, April 17, 2026, at 1 p.m. by Mayor Stephan Korte. The municipality of Stuhr thus underscores the importance of the event for the local economy.

The fair runs for three days:

• Friday, 17.04.: 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM
• Saturday, 18.04.: 11:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• Sunday, 19.04.: 11:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Folk festival character

In addition to the pure exhibition, the fair has a distinct folk festival character with catering, small amusement rides, family activities, and live music. This makes it attractive for visitors who are not primarily coming for business reasons.
