16th edition – for the first time on the new fairground at Brunnenweg in Brinkum
The municipality of Stuhr and its district Brinkum are an important economic location in Lower Saxony, closely linked to the greater Bremen area. Crafts, trade, commerce, and services are represented here in a diversity that is remarkable for the size of the municipality. The Spring and Trade Fair is the annual stage for this economic vitality.
The 16th edition in 2026 marks an important generational change: for the first time, the fair will take place on the new fairground at Brunnenweg in Brinkum. The new location was designed by the municipality with the requirements of a modern large-scale event in mind – sufficient parking spaces, good accessibility, generous exhibitor areas.
The approximately 120 exhibitors cover a broad spectrum: craft businesses of all trades, retailers, service providers such as banks, insurance companies, and consulting firms, automotive and mobility providers, horticulture, energy suppliers, educational institutions, social organizations, and much more. Anyone who wants to get an overview of the economic life in Stuhr and the surrounding area will find it here.
The official opening will take place on Friday, April 17, 2026, at 1 p.m. by Mayor Stephan Korte. The municipality of Stuhr thus underscores the importance of the event for the local economy.
The fair runs for three days:
In addition to the pure exhibition, the fair has a distinct folk festival character with catering, small amusement rides, family activities, and live music. This makes it attractive for visitors who are not primarily coming for business reasons.
The 2026 edition marks an important milestone with the move to the new Brunnenweg fairground. The larger and better-equipped location creates the conditions for further development of the event in the coming years.
With around 120 exhibitors, the fair is one of the most important regional economic presentations in the Diepholz district and the greater Bremen area.
