Overview

The 2025 season of Strünkeder Sommer ran for its usual five months at Schloss Strünkede. Concerts from various genres, open-air cinema, theatre in the park, the annual medieval spectacle, and the family festival of the shooting clubs once again shaped the programme.

In 2025, Strünkeder Sommer presented itself in its familiar format. With Sunday afternoon salon orchestra concerts, indie and folk concerts, theatre in the park, and the traditional medieval weekend, the event attracted thousands of visitors to the castle park.

Particular focus in 2025 was placed on the open-air cinema, which screened classics and current blockbusters in the castle park for four evenings. The season concluded with a preview of the 2026 jubilee programme for the 100th birthday of the Emschertal-Museum.
