The Streuobst-Wanderung 2025 of the Feldberger Seenlandschaft Nature Park took place as usual in September around Wittenhagen. Nature park rangers guided participants through the old orchards, conveying the importance and diversity of scattered fruit tree meadows in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern.
The 2025 edition of the Streuobst-Wanderung followed the proven concept: a guided autumn tour through the scattered fruit tree meadows around Wittenhagen, with explanations on ecology, variety diversity, and the importance of this cultural landscape for biodiversity.
The tour is part of a series of guided events offered by the Feldberger Seenlandschaft Nature Park throughout the year – bird watching tours in spring, amphibian festival in early summer, Sacred Halls hikes in summer, and wild herb tours throughout the entire vegetation season.
