Overview

In 2025, Neustrelitz once again celebrated its Strelitzia Festival on the third weekend in May to mark the city's birthday. The city center transformed into a festive mile with music, dance, shows, and arts and crafts, complemented by an extensive family program. In the evening, the festival moved to Schlossberg, where a fire and flame show concluded the day atmospherically. Admission was free.

The Strelitzia Festival 2025 continued the tradition of Neustrelitz's city festival. Stages, stalls, and interactive activities were spread across several areas of the city center – from the Kulturquartier and Schlossstraße to the Marktplatz.

The program combined live music, dance, and shows with a family offering including a children's program, bouncy castles, and the "Blaulichtmeile" (Blue Light Mile) of the emergency services. As usual, the finale was a fire and flame show at Schlossberg, which attracted numerous visitors. The Strelitzia Festival reaffirmed its status as the most popular spring festival in the residence city.
