Streetfood Festival Oldenburg

The Streetfood Festival Oldenburg is part of the nationwide street food festival tour, which combines foodtruck culture, live music, and family entertainment into a three-day open-air event in several cities. The event takes place on the Schlossplatz in Oldenburg at the end of June.

Foodtrucks from Around the World

The selection of foodtrucks is deliberately international. Asian cuisine (Bao, Ramen, Korean BBQ, Sushi), Latin American bowls and tacos, Middle Eastern specialties (Falafel, Manakish), classic burgers and hot dogs, creative vegetarian and vegan concepts, as well as sweets like crêpes, waffles, and ice cream are on the program.

Live Music

A stage provides the musical accompaniment. Local and national acts perform during peak hours – mostly acoustic sets, small bands, and DJs. The music is deliberately geared towards a festival atmosphere that supports communal dining and lingering.

Kids Area

A dedicated Kids Area makes the Streetfood Festival family-friendly. Play and activity offerings, a bouncy castle, or a craft area (depending on the edition) allow parents to enjoy their food in peace while the children are entertained.

Schlossplatz as the Festival Venue

The Schlossplatz is converted into an open-air dining area with standing tables, seating, and beer benches. Its central location allows for easy access; a visit can be easily combined with a stroll through the city center.

Admission is free. Payment is made directly at the respective foodtruck.
