In 2025, the Streetfood Festival Höxter once again invited visitors to the market square of the Weser town. Food trucks from around the world brought international flavors to the historic city center — one of the most diverse streetfood events in Ostwestfalen-Lippe.

The 2025 edition of the Streetfood Festival Höxter confirmed the trend: Streetfood festivals have become an established part of the summer season in OWL in recent years. Höxter, with its charming historic market square and proximity to the UNESCO World Heritage site of Corvey Castle, offers a particularly attractive setting for such an event.

The concept of several days of food truck feasting, complemented by drink bars and live music, has proven to be a tourism magnet — day-trippers from the Ruhr area, Lower Saxony, and Hesse come to the city for the festival and often discover the old town and the castle at the same time.
