Overview

The 22nd edition of STRAMU Würzburg took place from September 12th to 14th, 2025, in the city centre of the Lower Franconian residence city. Over 70 artists from 20 nations performed at 20 venues between the Market Square and the Alte Mainbrücke. Admission was free, with around 80,000 visitors. The STRAMU Awards went to Ben Morgan (Best Music Act), ManoAmano (Best Non-Music Act), and the RG6 project (Best Würzburg Newcomer).

In 2025, as every year, STRAMU attracted tens of thousands of visitors to Würzburg's city centre. Solo musicians, acoustic bands, brass combos, and performance artists played simultaneously at the 20 venues. The diversity of disciplines – music, acrobatics, comedy, dance, magic – made the festival a highlight of the Lower Franconian festival season.

The STRAMU Awards 2025 honoured three acts on Sunday: Ben Morgan as the best music act, ManoAmano as the best non-music performance, and the Würzburg project RG6 as the best local newcomer. This award ceremony has been a firm tradition of the event for years and strengthens STRAMU's connection to the Würzburg cultural scene.
