Overview

The spring 2025 edition of the Street Food Festival Cologne took place as usual around May 1st on the Rhine promenade. Around 30–35 food trucks from around the world, free admission, Mediterranean atmosphere on the Rhine promenade. The event is a regular fixture on the NRW street food calendar.

Street Food on the Rhine Promenade 2025

In 2025, the Street Food Festival Cologne was held successfully at the Trankgassenwerft, as in previous years. The event benefited from the long weekend around May 1st; families, groups of friends, and tourists enjoyed the Mediterranean atmosphere right by the water for a relaxed spring outing.

The concept remained tried and tested: around 30–35 food trucks with international offerings, free admission, tapas portions for tasting, and live DJs in the evenings. Organizer Street Food Festival GbR once again reported satisfied visitor numbers. Cologne thus remains one of the most important street food stages in Western Germany.
