Overview

The Straßenweinfest Wirmsthal 2025 took place on August 2 and 3 on Kiesweg in the Wirmsthal district. Organized by SV Wirmsthal e.V., only wines from local vintners were served – Silvaner, Müller-Thurgau, and other Franconian varieties. Live music accompanied the two days of the festival, along with Franconian specialties and a relaxed atmosphere at the wine tables in the Saaletal.

In 2025, the street wine festival on August 2 and 3 once again attracted numerous wine lovers to Wirmsthal. Organizer SV Wirmsthal e.V. transformed the Kiesweg into a Franconian wine mile: long tables, stands from local vintners, specialties from the region. Live music – acoustic bands and cover bands from the region – accompanied the summer evenings. Families from Wirmsthal, Euerdorf, Bad Kissingen, and the surrounding area met at the tables, while wine enthusiasts from Würzburg and Schweinfurt appreciated the unadulterated character of this small village wine festival.
