Overview
The 2025 Straßenweinfest, like in previous years, was dedicated to Franconian wine from the Maindreieck. On Saturday afternoon, the festival grounds on Lindenstraße opened, and the Hergolshausen Wine Princess officially opened the festival days in the early evening. Several hundred visitors from Hergolshausen, Waigolshausen, and the surrounding communities in the Schweinfurt region attended.
On Sunday, the festival committee featured the traditional Sunday lunch with spit-roasted meat (Spießbraten), fresh salads, and Franconian sausages. Musically, young bands alternated with established ensembles; the festival concluded on Sunday evening, as usual, with the Hergolshäuser Musikanten.
Programme
2025 Program in typical sequence:
- Saturday: Festival opening in the late afternoon, appearance of the Wine Princess in the evening, festival band until late at night.
- Sunday: Sunday lunch with spit-roasted meat (Spießbraten) from 11 AM, stage music in the afternoon, finale with the Hergolshäuser Musikanten in the evening.
