Straßenkulturfestival Erdmannhausen

A successful premiere

On September 7, 2024, Erdmannhausen experienced its first street culture festival. The municipality had started with a call for artists in spring 2024 — the response was surprisingly high. Ultimately, 52 artists in 16 groups performed on four different stages in the town centre. Classical trios played in the shadow of the town hall, cover bands rocked the main stage, magicians had their own performance slots, and writers read from their current novels.

Local press reaction

"Great success" headlined the Stuttgarter Zeitung and the LKZ. The mix of dense artist succession on four parallel stages, the charm of the historic town centre, and free admission convinced the audience and organisers alike. Based on this, the municipality began planning for an annual repeat in summer 2026.
