Overview

The 2025 Straßenfest Ehrenfeld once again gathered around 300,000 visitors on Venloer Straße. Several stages featuring pop, world music, techno, and local Cologne music, hundreds of stalls, and multicultural street food characterized the neighbourhood festival. The mix of alternative subculture, multicultural community, and creative crafts once again confirmed Ehrenfeld as Cologne's most creative neighbourhood.

The 2025 edition continued the established neighbourhood festival concept: Venloer Straße closed for 1.5 km, several stages, hundreds of stalls, multicultural street food.

As every year, the festival brought together Ehrenfeld's communities, subcultures, and associations – Turkish and Arab restaurants alongside vegan caterers, techno DJs next to local Cologne carnival bands, vintage designers next to school choirs. Organiser von der Gathen, in cooperation with IG Venloer Straße, once again reported a positive outcome and announced its return for 2026.
