In 2025, the Stralsund Christmas Market transformed the UNESCO World Heritage old town into a winterly festive landscape. At several locations, a culture tent, arts and crafts, an ice rink, and the medieval Nikolai Market invited visitors to a atmospheric Advent experience.

In 2025, the Stralsund Christmas Market once again invited visitors to the Hanseatic city. As the oldest Advent market on the Baltic coast, it was spread across several locations in the old town, including Alter Markt, Rathauskeller, Neuer Markt, and Johanniskloster. Mulled wine, arts and crafts, amusement rides, and a packed program of events made the market a highlight of Advent in the Vorpommern-Rügen district.
