The 2025 Stoned from the Underground on Alperstedter See once again confirmed the festival's status as Europe's most important stoner rock and doom festival. Three days of camping, multiple stages, and an internationally curated lineup made the 22nd edition a classic of Thuringia's summer festival season.
SFTU 2025 – Review
The 22nd edition of Stoned from the Underground once again attracted fans of stoner rock, doom metal, and psychedelic rock to Alperstedter See in July 2025. Three festival days, multiple stages, and the usual curated lineup featuring European and North American bands defined the family-like underground atmosphere.
Camping directly by the lake, swimming between sets, a small number of visitors – SFTU remains the anti-mainstream festival in Thuringia. Radio BOB! was also a media partner in 2025.
