Overview

The 2025 Narrentreffen took place on the February weekend of the Swabian-Alemannic Fasnacht. Star march, parade, and Narrengericht trial — the proven three-day program once again drew thousands of jesters and spectators to Stockach's old town. The response and the supporting structure confirmed the town and the Narrengericht in their expanded format for the 675th anniversary in 2026.

Preparation for the Anniversary

The 2025 Narrentreffen was already focused on preparing for the big anniversary in 2026. The program structure and logistical processes were tested in 2025, so that for the anniversary edition, an increased number of participants and more intensive SWR coverage could be expected.

The positive feedback from the Swabian-Alemannic Fasnacht region and the continuous presence of top politicians as "defendants" in the Narrengericht trial have confirmed the special status of the Stockach Narrengericht within the South German Fasnacht landscape.
