In 2025, the Sternenzauber-Markt once again transformed the cloister village of Hanerau-Hademarschen into a pre-Christmas light installation with market stalls and candlelight shopping for a weekend.
The 2025 Sternenzauber-Markt combined the classic Christmas market with the special light decoration that gives the event its name on the traditional last weekend of November. Mounted stars, fairy lights, and illuminated shop windows formed the backdrop for market stalls and community life.
As always, the Hademarschen shops opened simultaneously for Candlelight Shopping – a concept that interweaves the market and stationary retail, and works particularly well.
