Overview
The 20th anniversary edition in 2025 confirmed the Sternenmarkt as Brandenburg's most important Polish Christmas market. In the historic Kutschstallhof, Polish artisans gathered with nativity figures, amber jewelry, and Pisanki, alongside food stalls offering Pierogi, Bigos, and Grzaniec (mulled wine). Polish dance groups, choirs, and theatre ensembles performed at the Sternenfest, while the children's Christmas workshop ran continuously. The Brandenburg Museum opened its exhibitions to market visitors and offered guided tours — a German-Polish cultural encounter that has been an integral part of Potsdam's Advent calendar for two decades.
