Overview

In the summer of 2025, the Steinklang series once again invited audiences to concerts featuring stone instruments in the Dominikanerkirche Augsburg. Thursdays through Sundays, the Steinklang Percussion Ensemble performed compositions by Wolfgang Lackerschmid on the Gramorimba, Steinharfe, and Steingong, following a church tour each day.

The Steinklang concerts in 2025 continued the series that began in 2009: in the Dominikanerkirche Augsburg, works by Wolfgang Lackerschmid, composed for the space, resonated Thursdays through Sundays, performed by the Steinklang Percussion Ensemble on the unique stone instruments Gramorimba, Steinharfe, and Steingong.

As usual, each concert was preceded by a guided tour of the Dominikanerkirche. Steinklang once again confirmed its reputation as Augsburg's resonant calling card.
