Overview
In 2025, Stegaurach in the Bamberg district also celebrated its central Kerwa on the first weekend of July. Four days of festivities with beer tapping, raising of the Kerwabaum, a festive church service, and the Betznaustanzn brought the village community in the Bamberg area together.
Kerwa 2025
The Stegaurach Kirchweih 2025 followed the established four-day Kerwa choreography. The Kirwaboum Stegaurach organized the festival with the mayor's beer tapping ceremony on Friday evening, the raising of the Kerwabaum on Saturday, a festive church service and Frühschoppen on Sunday, and the Betznaustanzn as the festival's conclusion on Monday. As part of the Stegaurach Kerwa landscape with six annual Kirchweihen, it remained the central Kerwa of the main town in 2025.
