Overview
The 2025 Steampunk event at the LWL-Open Air Museum Hagen confirmed its format as a recurring summer date. Retrofuturistic outfits met authentic industrial history; the small market and the interaction between subculture and regular museum operations ran smoothly.
The 2025 edition once again brought numerous Steampunk enthusiasts and museum visitors to the Mäckingerbach valley. The interaction with the open-air museum's regular Sunday program (workshops in operation, forge fires in the hammer mills) made the event a unique experience — past and retrofuturistic vision in one setting.
