Overview

The 2025 edition of STAMP took place in June in Altona — as always, the highlight of altonale. Throughout the entire weekend, street theatre, contemporary circus, dance, urban art, and participatory formats filled the Platz der Republik and surrounding city areas. Completely free.

STAMP 2025 confirmed its reputation as Germany's largest street art festival. Artists from over 20 nations brought their acts to Altona's public spaces, from large acrobatic shows to quiet, site-specific performances. The family program in the Kids Space and on the Teens Stage again attracted a large audience.

altonale GmbH organised the festival in its usual format, with artistic direction by Hilke Geppert. The close integration with the Altona district — organizers, stages, venues — remains STAMP's hallmark.
