Stadtfestival 2025 — Three Days of Live Music in the City Center

In 2025, the Stadtfestival took place from August 22 to 24. On Friday evening, JustBrill! (acoustic trio from Weimar) opened on the Market Square, followed by Norbert Conrads (tenor) and Hey Kölle (Kölsch rock) on the Town Hall stage. Saturday was dedicated to broader genres: Sandra Lubos and Alessandro Galas (Latin) on the Market Square, Mina Richmann (Soul/Blues) and Sanity Law (Rock) in the Town Hall courtyard. Highlight: the fireworks at 9:30 PM.

Family Sunday with Duck Race

Sunday began with an open-air church service at 10 AM, followed by Free Waves (Pop/Folk/Rock) on the Market Square and an extensive family program. The duck race on the Aabach at 3:30 PM and the Sunday opening of retail stores (1 PM–6 PM) rounded off the festival weekend — supported, as always, by the IGEV on a volunteer basis.
