Overview
The Stadtfest Wilkau-Haßlau 2025 celebrated the 90th anniversary of the small West Saxon town's town rights from August 29 to 31. Three days of programming with live music, a parade, the premiere of the city run, and a surprise — driven by community engagement and local clubs.
The 2025 edition was a jubilee festival: 90 years since Wilkau-Haßlau was granted town rights in 1935. The festival program included live music, a colorful stage program, a parade, and the premiere of the Wilkau-Haßlau City Run. Local clubs were, as always, the driving force behind the festival concept. Thousands of citizens and guests from the Zwickau district and the West Saxony region came to the market square on the last weekend of August.
