Overview
During the Stadtfest Sonthofen 2025, the Alpine town in Oberallgäu once again celebrated a grand city festival. After the beer tapping ceremony in the morning, traditional costume groups, music bands, rock and cover bands, as well as DJs performed on the stages at Rathausplatz, Promenadestraße, Oberer Markt, and Johann-Althaus-Platz. The Kinderland on Oberallgäuer Platz offered play and activity options for families during the day. Around 40 clubs and restaurateurs provided catering; the festival attracted tens of thousands of visitors in good weather, confirming its status as a social summer highlight in Oberallgäu.
