The 2025 Stadtfest Selm established the four-day format on the Selm Campus: a city run for the opening, a DJ night "Selm City Vibes" on Friday with local and regional acts, a live and DJ party on Saturday with Lorenz Büffel and Burning Heart, among others, and a Family Day on Sunday with a Dutch Market — the blueprint upon which the ambitious 2026 program is built.

Stadtfest Selm 2025 — The Base Edition

The 2025 edition ran from June 19 to 22 on the Selm Campus. Thursday was City Run day with opening concerts. Friday and Saturday formed the main music evenings, and Sunday was Family Day with the Dutch Market.

Selm City Vibes 2025 (Friday)

DJ set evening with a local touch: DJ Stivi-B, a local Selm DJ (melodic techno, 135-155 bpm), opened, followed by JUF-X, who hails from Selm and has played at clubs like Bootshaus Cologne and the Panama Open Air Festival.

Summer Night Party 2025 (Saturday)

Live and party evening with Colortones (a student band from the Municipal High School), Burning Heart (a cover band with over 35 years of stage experience), and headliner Lorenz Büffel ("Johnny Däpp" — platinum status). The evening concluded with DJ DNF (Dirk Neuenfels) featuring a light show and pyrotechnics.

The Dutch Market on Sunday and the Castle Day rounded off the city festival — both are established components of the format that will return in 2026.
