Overview

The 2024 Volksvergnügen took place on Saturday, September 14th from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. in Balve's town center, followed by Sunday shopping on September 15th. Stages with live music, club demonstrations, a craft and farmer's market, and a family program attracted thousands of visitors from Balve and the surrounding area.

The 2024 edition of the Balver Volksvergnügen offered the tried-and-tested mix on September 14th: stages with live music in the town center, demonstrations by Balve clubs, a craft and farmer's market with producers from the Sauerland, and hands-on activities for the youngest visitors. On Sunday, the shops opened for Sunday shopping. As usual, admission was free, and Balve's clubs, shops, and institutions were provided with stand space free of charge.
