Overview
The Stadtfest Bad Salzungen 2025 once again used the Marktplatz, Nappenplatz, and Burgsee lake as its festival area. Live music, WELOPA party night, sports events at Burgsee lake, and a family Sunday made the festival a highlight of the summer calendar. The combination of electronic music, rock concerts, and family entertainment defined the weekend. The city administration already announced the second edition of the SwimRun for 2026 in 2025.
Review 2025
The 2025 season established the WELOPA format and the WerraEnergie SwimRun as permanent components of the Stadtfest. The event benefited from good weather and a broadly diversified programme — from electronic dance night to rock concert to the family programme on Sunday. The city administration already announced the second edition of the SwimRun for 2026 in 2025.
