The Stadtfest Bad Oldesloe transforms the city centre into a large celebration zone for three days. With a main stage at the market square, a colourful mile with street food stalls, and a beer and wine garden with live music, there's a varied programme for all age groups. A special feature: the municipal youth work runs its own youth stage "U27 auf die Bühne!" (U27 on stage!) featuring bands, solo artists, DJs, and dance groups under 27 years of age. On Sundays, there's a colourful children's programme. Organiser: Hamburg Events HES GmbH together with the City of Bad Oldesloe.

From Friday, June 12th to Sunday, June 14th, 2026, the Oldesloe city centre will be transformed for the Stadtfest. Main stage at the market square, U27 youth stage, street food mile, beer and wine garden — three days of festival atmosphere. Sunday with a children's programme.

The Stadtfest Bad Oldesloe 2026 runs for three days: Friday, June 12th, 4:00 PM–1:00 AM; Saturday, June 13th, 11:00 AM–1:00 AM; Sunday, June 14th, 11:00 AM–8:00 PM. The main stage at the market square presents a professional live programme. The "U27 auf die Bühne!" (U27 on stage!) youth stage features bands, solo artists, DJs, and dance groups under 27 years of age on Friday and Saturday evenings — applications were open until March 15th, 2026, via [email protected].

On Sunday, the Stadtfest is particularly focused on families with a colourful children's programme. Throughout the weekend, street food stalls, a beer and wine garden, and amusement rides are spread throughout the pedestrian zone. The organiser is Hamburg Events HES GmbH in conjunction with the City of Bad Oldesloe.

By train to Bad Oldesloe (Hamburg–Lübeck line, RE and IC trains), the market square is a 5-minute walk away. By car, take the A1 (Bad Oldesloe exit).

Bad Oldesloe in the Stormarn District

Bad Oldesloe is the district town of Stormarn in southeastern Schleswig-Holstein, located between Hamburg and Lübeck on the River Trave. With around 25,000 inhabitants, the town is an important administrative and supply centre for the rural region and is conveniently located on the A1 motorway and the Hamburg–Lübeck railway line.

Three Days of City Centre Festivities

Every year in June, the Stadtfest Bad Oldesloe transforms the city centre into a continuous celebration zone. Several stages, street food stalls, amusement rides, and a beer and wine garden with live music characterise the cityscape. The main stage at the market square is the centrepiece, the colourful festival mile runs through the pedestrian zone, and the Kurpark serves as the family area.

U27 Youth Stage — A Bad Oldesloe Speciality

A remarkable speciality is the "U27 auf die Bühne!" (U27 on stage!) youth stage — its own stage, run by the municipal youth work, featuring exclusively artists under 27 years of age. Bands, solo artists, DJs, and dance groups from the region apply through calls for proposals from the city and create their own programme on Friday and Saturday evenings. It is one of the few town festivals that so explicitly focuses on promoting young talent.
