Overview
The 2024/2025 season at the Mecklenburgisches Staatstheater Schwerin featured premieres in all five departments — opera, ballet, drama, concerts, and the Fritz-Reuter-Bühne — as well as the established Schlossfestspiele as the summer highlight in the Schlossgarten and Küchengarten.
Throughout the 2024/2025 season, the Staatstheater utilized its main stages on Alter Garten as well as the summer venues for the Schlossfestspiele. The programme included symphony concerts by the Mecklenburgische Staatskapelle, opera and ballet productions, drama premieres, and Low German comedies. The Schlossfestspiele concluded the season once again with an open-air series.
