Overview

The English Christmas Market at St. George's Anglican Episcopal Church Berlin took place on Saturday, December 6, 2025, from 2:30 PM to 6:00 PM. British and German exhibitors offered English books, DVDs, toys, tea, Mince Pies, and crafts. Bagpipe music, communal Christmas Carol singing, and a tombola were part of the programme, as every year.

The 2025 edition took place on December 6th (second Advent Saturday) from 2:30 PM to 6:00 PM. The compact event brought together British expats, English students, German lovers of British Christmas traditions, and many regular visitors who come for the English books and DVDs.

The church offered Mince Pies, Christmas Pudding, tea, sherry punch, and British sandwiches. A Berlin Pipe Band played bagpipes inside the church, and in the late afternoon, the communal Christmas Carol singing with organ accompaniment took place. The tombola with British prizes was, as always, a programme highlight.
