Largest vocational and study fair in the Vorderpfalz region with over 100 exhibitors at the Eberthalle
By choosing a vocational training program or course of study, young people make one of the most important decisions of their lives. The Sprungbrett Fair offers a concentrated opportunity to get to know a variety of professions and courses of study over a weekend and to talk with representatives from practice. This personal advice is an invaluable advantage, especially at a time when online information is becoming confusing.
The fair brings together stakeholders from all relevant areas: BASF as the largest training company in the region, craft and industrial companies from the Vorderpfalz, public employers (city, state, police, Bundeswehr, Federal Police, justice, financial administration), universities (Hochschule Ludwigshafen, University of Mannheim, DHBW, Hochschule Worms), vocational schools, independent providers and educational institutions, as well as non-profit organizations offering voluntary services (FSJ, BFD).
The Friedrich-Ebert-Halle – or Eberthalle for short – is one of Ludwigshafen's largest event halls with an area of several thousand square meters. With its flexible hall, good transport links, and existing infrastructure, it offers ideal conditions for a fair of this magnitude. Trams stop nearby, and the hall is also easily accessible by car.
In addition to the exhibition stands, the fair usually includes an accompanying program with lectures, application photo sessions, portfolio checks, counseling sessions, and hands-on stations for career self-exploration. This makes Sprungbrett more than just an exhibition: a moderated weekend focused on starting a career.
The exact list of exhibitors and the detailed program for the fair will be published by LUKOM in the summer of 2026. In addition to the stands, lectures, hands-on stations, and a portfolio review are expected – as successfully implemented in previous years.
The exact 2026 program will be published by the organizer in the summer. The structure will follow the proven key points of previous years:
