The Gut Basthorst show jumping tournament 2025 took place in July at the estate. Equestrians from the greater Hamburg area and Schleswig-Holstein met for three days of show jumping competitions, complemented by the courtyard café and social gatherings in the festival tent. As in previous years, the tournament was a firm fixture in the regional equestrian calendar.
The 2025 show jumping tournament at Gut Basthorst continued the annual tradition. Three days of sport in multiple classes brought riders and horses from Schleswig-Holstein, Hamburg, and Lower Saxony to the estate. The historic setting — manor house, riding facilities, old trees — and the relaxed weekend character with the courtyard café and riders' get-together made the 2025 tournament a typical example of the strong rural equestrian culture in eastern Lauenburg.
