Spring Steam at the Historic Engine Shed Wittenberge

Spring Steam 2025

The 2025 season opener brought life back to the Historic Engine Shed Wittenberge on the spring weekend. Steam locomotive Emma was in steam, diesel locomotives began their seasonal runs, and families tried out the handcars.

The Dampflokfreunde Salzwedel e.V. association continued the long-standing tradition as the engine shed's season opener. Families from the Prignitz region and further afield in Northern Germany used the weekend for an industrial and family outing.
