Overview

The 2025 Sportplatzkerwa took place from July 18th to 20th at the SCA Altenplos sports grounds. With the classic Krenfleisch evening on Friday, live music on the weekend, and a marquee atmosphere, the summer festival of SC Altenplos confirmed its status as one of the most popular club festivals in the Bayreuth district.

The 2025 edition followed the tried-and-tested format: Friday evening with Krenfleisch and live music, Saturday as the main festival evening with a full marquee and dancing until midnight, and Sunday as a family-friendly wind-down with lunch and coffee service in the afternoon.

As every year, the club members of SC Altenplos 1921 e.V. managed the festival on a voluntary basis. The proceeds go towards youth work and the maintenance of the sports grounds. In 2025, too, guests traveled from the entire Bayreuth district, from Upper Franconia, and even from the neighboring Upper Palatinate Forest.
