The 35th Sport- und Sommerfest of SV Gotteszell took place in June 2025 and, as every year, attracted club members, families, and guests from the entire ARBERLAND region to the sports grounds. Three days of festival tent with live music, sports, and a convivial seniors' afternoon.

Sport- und Sommerfest 2025 — Review

In 2025, the SV Gotteszell summer festival once again proved to be a fixture on the Lower Bavarian Volksfest calendar. Three days in the festival tent with live bands from the region, a constantly full tent on the weekend, and a well-attended family afternoon on Sunday characterized this year's event.

The festival is officially recognized by the ARBERLAND tourism association as an annual Volksfest and is a fixed part of the summer program for the municipality of Gotteszell and its neighboring towns (Ruhmannsfelden, Teisnach, Viechtach). The typical Bavarian Forest specialties — Bratwurst (grilled sausage), Schweinsbraten (roast pork), Steckerlfisch (grilled fish on a stick) — were also on offer again.
