Overview

The SPIELWIESN 2025 set a new visitor record: 16,500 guests flocked to the Messe Augsburg over a November weekend. The 2,200 game stations were almost continuously occupied throughout the three days. Long Game Night on Friday, family days on the weekend, Pen & Paper Arena, and Science Playground.

SPIELWIESN 2025 wrote a remarkable chapter in the history of the Augsburg game fair: with 16,500 visitors, the previous record was significantly surpassed. Southern Germany and the adjacent regions of Tyrol, Vorarlberg, Salzburg, and Switzerland once again showed how great the appetite for analog gaming is in family and adult formats.

The 2,200 game stations were staffed by around 80 volunteer game explainers. Exhibitors from across the German-speaking world presented new releases, many with limited fair editions. As in previous years, highlights included the Long Game Night on Friday, the Science Playground for young tinkerers, the Pen & Paper Arena, and the flea market for used games.
