Overview
In 2025, no central city festival took place in Spenge — the town worked on a successor concept for the Lange-Straßen-Fest, which had been on hiatus since 2020. Citizen participation and concept development led to the premiere of the new "Spenger Kant" on July 11/12, 2026. Instead, smaller decentralized association and district events took place in 2025.
2025 was a transition year: The town of Spenge prepared for the restart, consulted with associations and businesses, designed the new format, and named it "Spenger Kant" — as a tribute to Immanuel-Kant-Straße as the central festival axis.
