Overview
The 2025 Sparrenburgfest took place as usual on a July weekend, bringing medieval castle life to Bielefeld's Sparrenburg. Market stalls, blacksmiths, falconers, acting troupes, and music groups animated the castle for three days. Bielefeld Marketing organized the festival with hundreds of exhibitors and helpers.
The 2025 edition confirmed the festival's concept as one of the most widely attended medieval festivals in the East Westphalia region. Due to the castle's central location above the city and the dense program, the festival once again attracted families from across the Münsterland and East Westphalia regions to Bielefeld.
