Overview

The Sparkassen Metropolmarathon 2025 attracted thousands of runners to the route between Fürth and Nuremberg on June 14 and 15. The program included the Marathon, Half-Marathon, 10-Kilometer Run, and Kids Marathon; the start was Fürther Freiheit, and the finish was Hauptmarkt Nuremberg.

At the Metropolmarathon 2025, the "Cloverleaf meets Imperial Castle" route once again attracted thousands of participants. On Saturday, June 14, 2025, the Kids Marathon opened the weekend; on Sunday, June 15, 2025, the Marathon, Half-Marathon, 10-Kilometer Run, and Youth Marathon followed.

The start of all Sunday races was, as usual, at Fürther Freiheit, with the finish line at Nuremberg's Hauptmarkt. Thousands of spectators lined the route and cheering zones, making the run one of the sporting highlights of the Nuremberg Metropolitan Region.
